Join us at Líf Books for our first Kids Summer Reading Challenge - starting June 15th 📖 through August 25th.Pick up your reading logs at our checkout desk. Read books, earn scoops, and win prizes! All completed reading logs submitted by August 31st win a gift card to a local business (like Bedford Farms Ice Cream!), a raffle entry, and other special prizes. Need book suggestions? Read 8 Books or more between June 15th and August 25th. Any books you choose. Write down the titles, your thoughts, and give the book a rating!

(Details: For those who don’t / can’t read yet, someone can read to the participant. For this particular challenge we are encouraging regular real paper books instead of audio books or e-readers, unless the participant is differently abled and adaptation is needed).

At the end of the summer celebrate by turning in your completed packet. Turn in a completed reading log by Sun August 31st (no later!) TO WIN: 1 gift card to a fun local business: you choose

> Kids Summer Reading Club: Beech Reads @ Bedford’s ‘Beech House’

Líf Books is located in unit 1B in Bedford’s historic yellow Beech House located next to a majestic copper beech tree and garden and just steps from Bedford Farms Ice Cream. The property used to be part of a dairy farm that was run for generations by a local family.

June 15 - Aug 25 @ Líf Books: Read at the shop, under the beech tree or on our charming porch. Cool down after summer camp at Líf books, and hang out at the kids summer reading club. The club is a great way to ensure summer reading makes it into the kids’ schedule. (This is not a drop-off for kids under age 10).

Register in advance for your age group to make sure there’s space:

AGES 5-12 Thursdays 3:15-4:00 (limit 12)

AGES 12+ Fridays: 3:15-4:00 (limit 12)
